Welcome to Restaurant Elves Village, nestled in the peaceful village, just a 10-minute drive from Levi. Operating since 1999, Restaurant Elves Village has long been a hidden gem of Lapland, but now we are opening our doors to everyone!
It’s always Christmas at our restaurant
Step into a traditional Finnish Christmas cottage and experience the warmth of a crackling fireplace, the glow of hanging ornaments, and the rich aroma of mulled wine.

Before dinner, enjoy a traditional Finnish sauna, visit our reindeer enclosure, and finish with a thrilling sled ride down our private hill under the Northern Lights
Opening hours
- In the mornings (8 am–10 am) we offer the popular Elf Breakfast – table reservations are recommended! 19 € / per person, children 3-12 years old -50%. For hotel and Aurora Pyramids customers free of charge.
- For lunch (11 am–4 pm) enjoy our daily changing soup and a selection of à la carte dishes.
- For dinner (5 pm – 8 pm) available between 1.12.2024 – 31.3.2025, price 56 €/ Per person, children 3-12 years old -50%. For hotel and Aurora Pyramids customers free of charge.
- In the evenings (4 pm–10 pm) our à la carte menu celebrates traditional Lappish ingredients and flavors with a touch of international inspiration from Santa Claus’s travels around the world.
Themed dinners
Restaurant Tonttula’s specialty is the legendary Heavenly Feasts – a three-course Lapland experience where we serve Lapland delicacies from long planks or we can customize a shared meal for groups, either as portions or as a buffet!

Private dining
Our restaurant also has two cozy and private dining area, the Vasa Cabin (seats 8) and the Vaami Cabin (seats 12), which can be combined to create a spacious room for up to 20 people – perfect for meetings or intimate family gatherings.
The Elves’ Attic
The 300m2 highly customisable Elves’ Attic is located on the top floor of the main building at the Elves’ Village.
The Elves’ Attic is a great venue to host a theatre production or for dancing.
Easy to arrive
The Elves’ Village is located near Levi and is located as far from the centre of Levi as it is from the Levi Etelärinteet (South Slopes).
Come and enjoy a cup of coffee by bike in the summer, or by cross-country ski in the winter. You can get there by ski or snowmobile by going across the sunlit frozen Ounasjoki river in the spring.
There is a snowmobile track goes all the way into the courtyard.
In the summer, the journey is made comfortably by bicycle, and in the winter, the ski slopes lead to Tonttula for a coffee break.
The Elves Express bus operates from Levi center to Elves Village
