Lapland’s summer is short, bright, and its winter is cold, dark and long. Plants have to adapt to these living conditions. The plants withstand the winter underneath thick layers of snow throughout the forest and wake up in the spring to bloom through the Midnight Sun. The plants withstand the winds of the fells and the changing weather. The Arctic weather conditions make the plants that grow in Lapland very robust and have particularly potent active ingredients.
