The Elves\u2019 Village\u2019s reindeer Valkko, T\u00e4pl\u00e4 and Nulkkis, as well as the horses Laku, Gini and Tronic live here by the Ounasjoki river.<br>The sheep, horses and chickens live in a stable in the care of the Stable Elf during the wintertime.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\t<section class=\"block_e05877fa9c802b470b7df13df53df865 block block__textblock_and_image\">\n\n\t\t\n<div class=\"container-fluid\">\n  <div class=\"textblock_and_image__wrapper row text-left normal\">\n    <div class=\"textblock_and_image__image col-lg-6\" style=\"background-image: url('https:\/\/elvesvillage.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/04\/poro-nukkuu.jpg');\">\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n    <div class=\"textblock_and_image__text__container col-lg-6\">\n      <div class=\"textblock_and_image__text\">\n                  <h2 class=\"section__title\">Reindeer<\/h2>\n        \n        <p>Reindeer are wild, Arctic and semi-domesticated animals are highly valued in the Elves\u2019 Village.<\/p>\n<p>There is a large reindeer paddock in the Elves\u2019 Village where the reindeer graze. When necessary, the reindeer help out when there is a need to transport goods or elves over longer distances.<\/p>\n<p>The Elves\u2019 Village reindeer horns grow very fast, up to two centimetres a day. This is why they have been used to make many kinds of necessities in the Elves\u2019 Village, starting from the porridge scoops to lamps and earrings.<br \/>\nThe most famous reindeer in the village is the white reindeer, Kalle. Kalle never misses a chance for a photo opportunity, and you can spot Kalle in almost every Hullu Poro ad!<\/p>\n<p>All of the elves take care of the reindeer, but the Forest Elf Veli and Sailor-Smith Elf particularly like to hang out with them.<\/p>\n\n              <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n\n\n\t<section class=\"block_d56c30bfc5af12bcfd73a871469d7568 block block__textblock_and_image\">\n\n\t\t\n<div class=\"container-fluid\">\n  <div class=\"textblock_and_image__wrapper row text-left reverse\">\n    <div class=\"textblock_and_image__image col-lg-6\" style=\"background-image: url('https:\/\/elvesvillage.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/02\/Karitsat.jpg');\">\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n    <div class=\"textblock_and_image__text__container col-lg-6\">\n      <div class=\"textblock_and_image__text\">\n                  <h2 class=\"section__title\">Baa Baa the sheep<\/h2>\n        \n        <p>Baa baas are the Elves\u2019 Village sheep and they are the mother of twins, the timid Nipsu and the lively N\u00f6ps\u00f6 which both love food. The sheep\u2019s favourite foods are fireweed, bread, roots, and especially carrots. Sometimes these cunning sheep, which are also fond of delicacies, decide to go on a food hunt by themselves because they know where the elves keep their dried bread. After their food hunt, they quickly return to their safe paddock.<\/p>\n<p>In the summer, the sheep take care of the lawn and the riverbank. They love broadleaf plantain, and they all have their own crazy habits. One of the chickens is called Pikku-Musta (Little Blacky). Pikku-Musta is the most interested in people and sometimes likes to play hide-and-seek.<\/p>\n<p>Viiru (Streak) is a handsome rooster that wakes the Elves up in the morning from his lookout point located on a beautiful tree log. Pulu (Pigeon) and Kultasiipi (Gold Wing) are the mother figures of the flock of hens who collectively take care of their own kind and those of others.<\/p>\n<p>The Elves\u2019 Village chickens are very productive in laying eggs, and that&#8217;s very fortunate for the Elves&#8217; Village folk who love pancakes and bake their famous pancake in Elves\u2019 Village every day.<\/p>\n<p>The Elf in the Yellow Dress loves the chickens in Elves\u2019 Village and is often spotted near the chicken coop.<\/p>\n\n              <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n\n\n\t<section class=\"block_8def7508cc754f9959f34869f7d513d9 block block__textblock_and_image\">\n\n\t\t\n<div class=\"container-fluid\">\n  <div class=\"textblock_and_image__wrapper row text-left reverse\">\n    <div class=\"textblock_and_image__image col-lg-6\" style=\"background-image: url('https:\/\/elvesvillage.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/04\/hiisi.jpg');\">\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n    <div class=\"textblock_and_image__text__container col-lg-6\">\n      <div class=\"textblock_and_image__text\">\n                  <h2 class=\"section__title\">Demondells<\/h2>\n        \n        <p>Forest demons live in the middle of a gloomy forest in Demondell, where the head of the demons rule over them. Demons hide in demon castles that just look like piles of stones to humans. But if you see a large sword by a door, you know demons live there. In the water, these evil spirits are ruled by the Water Demon, who harasses fishermen. The Seita was named after Ukko, the supreme god.
